The other day I was talking to one of the people who come to the Dixie Care & Share for a shower. He told me had renewed his voter registration the week before. Then he asked me if I voted. Of course, I don’t. I am after all an American Citizen.
So I told him “no”, and that’s when he stepped in it.
“Why not, aren’t you a patriot?” He asked.
“Yes. That’s why I never license or register myself or my property,” I answered.
It’s true too. American Citizens cannot be required to license or register themselves or their property. To do so would violate our God-given inalienable rights and the liberties associated with them.
