Disintegrating Star Wars Tickets

I bought my tickets for Star Wars Episode III: Revenge of the Sith on Sunday, May 8th for the Monday May 23rd 2:15PM viewing. I’ve discovered a problem though.

When I bought the ticket at the Pineview Stadium 10 Westates Theater in Washington, Utah, the girl informed me it was nonrefundable. To me that was a stupid statement. Why would anybody want to get refunded on a ticket to Star Wars?

Well, I know now. I didn’t notice it at the time, but the ticket was printed with that new heat-printing technology, so after two weeks resting in my wallet, the “ink” has all flaked off. I’m not kidding, I cannot read the ticket.

With as adamant as that girl at the box-office was about how I couldn’t get a refund, I now know that it’s happened before and the likelihood of the theater honoring this ticket is minimal at best. I can tell you I plan to make scene at that theater if they do not let me see the movie. I paid for that ticket, and it’s not right that I may miss out due to no fault of my own.

I tried to e-mail Westates Theatres (http://www.westatestheatres.com), but I keep getting an undeliverable message.

At any rate, I’ll get there early enough to argue with anyone who thinks to make me rebuy admission. That’s not going to happen. And I will make noise if they have a problem with it. Make no mistake, I am angry about this!
