Laptop Woes

I’m having problems with my laptop. The latch that holds the battery in broke off so the battery keeps falling out. I have it taped in with duct tape, but I can’t get it to charge. It’s such an old computer that I doubt I can get a replacement latch. I can still use it with the AC adapter, which is what I do.
