Webpage Update

Well, that’s just like me. πŸ™‚ The main purpose I updated my website last time to change my age. It’s a new year, and I’m a year older. So, what did I change? Everything else that also needed changing, but not my age. So, I have finally done so. You’ll now find that my age as reported on my About Me page is 30 now instead of the previous 29.

But, between you and me, I still feel like 16. My number three niece tells me I look nineteen. πŸ˜€ I wish that was true, then I would still be able to get the girls like I used to. πŸ˜‰ My niece also thinks that I should marry Emma Watson, but I have tried to explain that that will never happen (for all the obvious reasons, not to mention that even though she is my celebrity crush, I tend to keep my marriage and relationship prospects more realistic and tangible). Not to worry though, I have already consigned myself to the image of the lonely, old, scary guy that I evidently am.

Anyway, you can checkout the change here:

Also, as mentioned unofficially in my last post, I have made similar changes in various online profiles I keep, such as Blogger, and Yahoo!, and MSN. I’ll get to AIM and ICQ as soon as I can.

Wireless/No Wireless

During the past week, I updated my website and several profiles to reflect my new residency and age. During the process, I removed all mention of my ability to access the internet via wireless network at my local library. Upon my first visit to the Oneida County Library, I was informed that they did not have wireless access.

However, yesterday during my somewhat daily visit to the library to use their internet computers, I discovered that I had been misinformed on my first visit. I was told by one of the ladies here that they did indeed have a wireless access point, but that it was somewhat unreliable. Some people are able to connect, while other are not.

So, here I am today with my laptop at the library to see what I can see. So far, I am unable to recognize a public access point, but I have discovered two nearby networks, but no DHCP offers. I haven’t requested help, because of the conversation I had yesterday, which implied that there was known issues with the server (windows XP) and no password to make the necessary changes. How funny. πŸ˜€

The gal in charge of the network here has got a regular network cable available for laptop use because of the known problem with the wireless system. If nothing else, I may just end up acquiring a standard pcmcia network card, if I can find one. I guess they are not so standard anymore. Anyone out there have one you wouldn’t mind sending my way?
Oh, but it feels nice to be on the computer once again in the comfort of a public library. It is too bad that this particular library does not have open hours better suited to my writing habits. The town is just too small to justify it.

The Zodiac Dragon

I noticed on my blogger profile, my β€œzodiac year” is Dragon. It just struck me as interesting being that I now live in Sick City, Idaho, the high school of which has a dragon for the mascot. This is a small town, so it may even be said that the dragon is the town’s mascot too. I’m not sure if it has an official mascot or not, but it may as well be a dragon.

Webpage Update

Since moving to Malad City, Idaho, I have neglected to update my webpages. Well, I have finally taken the time to do a little bit of just that.

I have edited my About Me page, and added a disclaimer of sorts to My Wish List page. I have no more use for the Wish List page at all, but I didn’t want to take the additional time to remove the references to it at the bottom of all 40 or so pages of the site. I’ll get around to it sometime, but don’t hold your breath. πŸ™‚

Have a nice day. πŸ™‚

Black 11

I have a new infatuation. The woman I refer to as Black 11, for her softball team and number. She is one of the most beautiful, sexy women here in Sick City, Idaho. I’d give anything in this world to marry her. She’s awesome eye-candy, and I know she can have loads of lovely daughters someday. πŸ™‚

The city league is over, but now I’ve see her just about everywhere. Last Saturday, I went to the Welsh Festival, and there she was. Looking as gorgeous as ever. She’s let her hair down and it’s amazing. For softball, she wore it in long pigtail braids Lora Engles (that’s Little House on the Prairie) style, which seems to be the latest fashion.

She was also at the 4th of July activities yesterday. Daisy Duke style shorts. Oh jeez, I don’t know why God does that to me. She and a friend just as good looking and sexy as her were wondering around the park seemingly aimless through the throngs of people. I’m sure she thinks I’m a scary old freak. Every time she looked at me I got caught staring at those brown eyes and distinctive facial features. I tried smiling ever time I remembered to, but she’s never smiled back.

Well, my thoughts are centered on her now, much to my own annoyance. There’s no way a woman like her is going to be interested or attracted to someone as old and scary as me. Or any of the other girls here in Sick for that matter. Not that it’s as bad as Satan George, Utah though. Already, I have caught a few lovelies the way Black 11 keeps catching me. πŸ˜‰

Unfortunately, my attraction to Black 11 is purely physical at this point. I don’t think that will ever change, I just don’t have any reason to pursue a conversation with her. She hasn’t shown any interest in me after all, and I’m not one to waste time on frivolous pursuits. The problem is that now that I’ve got her stuck in my mind, I’ll start missing other opportunities with women who are interested in me. And Sick City, Idaho is absolutely loaded with beautiful women, some of which are bound to be looking for the same thing I am in relationships.
Of course, I thought I was holding out for Rexburg. πŸ˜€

The Movie Critique 013

Well, I just watched Firewall. It was better than I thought it would be. And the woman who played the daughter! Wow, what a sweetie! She was a sexy thing, too bad they under wrote the part. The idiot who wrote the movie tried to make her a kid. I’ve never seen a woman the age she was portraying act like so childish like her character was. Cape Fear is more realistic of a woman that age.

The probability of anything like this plot and story actually happening the way it did in the movie, has got to be zero percent. There were so many red flags with Jack. And, I cannot believe how sloppy everything was and it still worked. Well, it was just a movie. And it was good for the entertainment.
I’ve seen a lot more worse movies than I’ve seen of better. There’s a lot of action, which could have been better with a younger actor. Makes me actually fear the next Indiana Jones movie.

City League Ends

Much to my disappointment, the city league softball season is over. I’ll no longer get to see many of those totally awesome, hotties anymore. πŸ™ I’ll especially miss the black and pink teams. The particular girls I’ll miss looking at, in addition to those I’ve already wrote about, include from the pink team, girls 12, 3, 4, 6, and 2; from the purple team, girls 5, 1, 6, 14, and 3.
