Right now, in some backwards, third-world dictatorship, government agents are invading the home of someone whose sin was to speak out against government corruption and deception. Isn’t it nice that we are fortunate enough to live in the land of the free?

Well, no. Because that “backwards, third-world dictatorship” is called the United States of America, and the person is Sherry Peel Jackson, CPA and former IRS Revenue Agent.



I just got a call from Sherry, and at this very moment, the American Gestapo has infested her house, and is doing their fascist rummaging and stealing routine, under the guise of a “search warrant” (sound familiar?).  Sherry and her family are currently waiting out the “storm” in their den.



Having had the privilege (not!) of watching this happen in my own house, I can’t even express the gut-level rage this brings back. Luckily, Sherry has at least been expecting it, and saying so for quite a while.  Nonetheless, expected Gestapo tactics still aren’t pleasant.



For several years now Sherry has done an outstanding job of spreading the truth (which is, of course, why the feds are now terrorizing her and her family). She did this KNOWING that it would incur the wrath of the American Gestapo. So what have YOU been doing, while she has been putting her neck on the line? Will you just say “gosh, that’s bad,” and go back to your breakfast, in your federal-agent-free house?



Sherry and her family are now enduring something that fits quite well within the definition of a “terrorist attack,” all because of her commitment to the TRUTH. When I learn more, I’ll let you know. But for now, I’ll just say that we ALL owe a huge debt of gratitude to Sherry for her efforts, and for her courage, and I for one intend to do anything I can to help her through this ordeal. And I’m just guessing here, but I bet what Sherry would like most is to see the fraud ENDED.   So end it by spreading the word!

Loitering Specifics

Utah Code §53A-2-108 – School districts independent of municipal and county governments – School district name – Control of property.

“(1)      (a) Each school district shall be controlled by its board of education and shall be independent of municipal and county governments.

            …

(2) The local school board shall have direction and control of all school property in the district.”

The only statute in the Utah Code that contains the word loiter is in §76-10-1302.

           (c) [he/she] loiters in or within view of any public place for the purpose of being hired to engage in sexual activity.”

Weird Rituals

This year I was forced to observe the Independence Day (4th of July) on the 3rd.  The reason for this has yet to be discovered.  The rumor, or word on the street, is that the Mormons would not allow the City of Saint George, Utah to celebrate the event on a Sunday.  I was even told that the president of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints made the specific commandment to all members of the faith.

 

What a ridiculous comment to make.  I have actually researched the news archives at the Church of Jesus Christ website www.lds.org, and have not found any legitimate proof to conclude that the Church required its members to observe Independence Day on the 3rd this year. 



It is my personal belief, however that the city officials wanted to see a real firework display in Las Vegas on the 4th, so they scheduled local activities a day early.  I think it is as good a guess as any, and it makes more sense than the ones involving the “Mormons”.

 

It is my understanding, based on my experiences since moving to Saint George, Utah, that the general public here will blame the “Mormons” (LDS) for everything they don’t understand.  The jibes against the LDS, however, will continue to insult the intelligence, or lack of, considering that with a little effort the people would disprove such nonsense.

 

The Church of Jesus Christ, for instance, teaches the concept of “free agency”.  Free agency means that the individual person is free to choose for themselves how to manage their own lives and decisions according to their own conscience.

 

So why do the people of Saint George, Utah, insist on restricting the agency of the people by closing public services for the LDS holiday “Pioneer Day”?


                                                                                                     

And how weird is this holiday?  To idolize a people, who according to the Church doctrines and history, were too evil to follow the commandments of their God that He commanded that they should go west to what is now Salt Lake and Utah.

Greedy Power Coveting

Amendment 9 – Constitution of the United States of America:

“The enumeration in the Constitution, of certain rights, shall not be construed to deny or disparage others retained by the people.”

 

Amendment 14 Section 1 – Constitution of the United States of America:

“All persons born or naturalized in the United States, and subject to the jurisdiction thereof, are citizens of the United States and of the State wherein they reside. No State shall make or enforce any law which shall abridge the privileges or immunities of citizens of the United States; nor shall any State deprive any person of life, liberty, or property, without due process of law; nor deny to any person within its jurisdiction the equal protection of the laws.”

 

An associate of mine attempted to purchase a pack of cigarettes the other day at a local convenience store only to be refused service because of his out-of-state, state issued picture ID.  When shown, the clerk flat-out refused to accept his legal Florida ID card.  The clerk informed him that he could only accept a Utah driver’s license.

 

What does a driver’s license have to do with smoking?  Where did Utah get the power to make or enforce law that abridges the rights of citizens of the other States of America? 

 

Later that evening, the same guy entered the only local bar and ordered a pitcher of beer.  The waitress refused to give him a full pitcher of beer.  She maintained that the State of Utah laws limited the amount of beer she could give him to half a pitcher at a time.

 

Since when is it the obligation of the State to regulate what citizens can have?

 

Another associate of mine desired to camp out in a tent for the term of one month.  When he asked the owner of the local campground how much he had to pay, he was told Utah law forbade him to let the guy stay any longer than two nights.  The owner assured the guy that if it were up to him, he would let the guy stay for as long as he wanted.

 

Why wasn’t it up him?  Did this owner not own the property?

 

Where did the State get the authority to manage private owned businesses or property?  Since when are convenience store clerks, bar waitresses, and property owners agents of that State?

 

And, the ever important question; Why?

Yesterday, a new sign popped up at a gazebo I frequent here in St. George, Utah.  The sign reads “No loitering 9 PM to 5 PM”.  To any intellectual beings, it is a reminder of a.) the ignorance of this community, and b.) the hypocrisy that runs abundant in this society. 

 

The gazebo, located at Tabernacle and 100 West, is part of the Washington County School District complex and blocks 100 West.  It serves no purpose that I can discern, and I have often wondered how it has legal bearing to even exist.  Who gave the county permission to close down a public street?

 

There are even benches located within the gazebo.  I often use them to rest in the shade and read a book.  In fact, I have been enjoying the gazebo now for at least four months now and have seen all sorts of people take a break on the benches.

 

I have never seen anyone loiter there- and I have often spent all day sitting on those public benches on that public property.

 

Now to understand the hypocrisy of the situation, one must understand a little about the heritage of St. George.  It was settled by LDS pilgrims as a cotton plantation.  The Christian theme is still strong.  Or at least at first glance.

 

See, most of the people who make use of the gazebo are in a word, homeless.  Now, being a Christian myself, I am under the impression form various different scripture that Christians are to treat others as they would have others treat them.  Here in St. George, it is common practice to shun those who have less.  This, coming from a people (Utahans) who lead the nation’s record for numbers of bankruptcy.

 

Anyway, the point is that it is obvious the sign was meant to read “No Homeless! Only Respectable Society Members Allowed”.

 

And what problems are we causing?  None of us are the stereotypical ‘bum’ as seen on TV.  We are not drunken obnoxious slobs.  We do not beg.  Most of us work daily and we are clean dressed.  In fact, many of us are highly educated individuals who have chosen liberty over the bondage of society.  There is a reason, after all, why the word society is the root of socialism and community/communism.

What is a Blog?

While reading through the August 2004 issue of Writer’s Digest, I happened across an article about Blogs.  The article itself never explained the Blog, it only referenced it as a means of modern publication.  The article sparked my curiosity enough to interest me on the spot and I logged onto the World Wide Web for more information.  The magazine article mentioned Blogger.com so off I went.  Unable to find any information on what a Blog is, I reverted to the old standby of computer learning, experience.  So here it is, my own Blog, whatever that means.
